Thank you for visiting out site This is the story of our attempts to create a home that is at peace with nature. We call it the Horsefeathers Project. We have yet to fail at it, because everything we have learned is just that a learning process. Mistakes made are lessons learned. We created this site because our freinds and neighbors have asked us so many questions that it was getting to the point that we had to do something like this or repeat ourselves telling them the story over and over again to each of them. Which we don't mind doing on a snow stormy day around a fire, but a good weather day cries out for my attention. I just can't sit still for long no matter how inviting it may seem. Please enjoy this site and use what you can and email me with any comments or ideas you may have or sites you may think might be of interest to this project. Some may wonder why do this? Or why is it taking so long to complete? Or why not do it the easy way? Or why not get a paid crew in there and get it done quickly? There are many answeres to those questions, but the number one reason is "me", come spend some time with me and all your questions why will be answered. I enjoy doing what I do, at the time I'm doing it. And as you read further on and keep in touch with the project you will get to understand why I do what I do,...too.
